When did your letter last change?

1 July 2025

From this date the Tax Practitioners Board requires practices with 100 or fewer staff to give every current and prospective client five categories of information in writing, in a prominent, clear and unambiguous way. Larger firms were caught six months earlier. Most letters in use today were written before any of it existed.

1 July 2026

Payday super started. Super contributions must now be received by the employee's fund within 7 business days of payday, not merely sent, which dates every payroll clause written before it.

This year

CA ANZ has updated its members-only letter tool twice: April for AML/CTF, July for AI clauses. Static templates haven't moved.

Five documents, built from your answers

  1. 01
    Engagement letter

Your services, your fees, your terms, with a service list assembled from what you actually offer.

  2. 02
    TPB client information insert

The five required disclosures, embedded in the letter and as a standalone page for existing clients.

  3. 03
    Professional clearance letter

Ready to send to the previous accountant or bookkeeper.

  4. 04
    New client onboarding checklist

Matched to the services you selected.

  5. 05
    Re-engagement letter

So next year's terms refresh takes minutes, not an evening.

Plus a plain-language guide: what each document is for, what to check before sending, and when to update.

How it works

  1. Pay once.
  2. Answer 20 questions about your practice. It takes about fifteen minutes, and it saves as you go.
  3. Download five editable Word documents, personalised throughout, plus a how-to guide.

Your intake link is emailed the moment your payment goes through. Nothing to wait for.

The alternatives

A$197+

A static letter template sells for A$197. Ignition starts at US$39 a month billed annually, or US$49 month to month. Neither asks a single question about your practice.

Fair questions

Is this legal advice?
No. LetterKit is a document automation tool, not legal, tax or professional advice. Every document is assembled from a fixed, versioned clause library; nothing is invented on the fly. You review everything before you send it.
I'm a bookkeeper. Do I need AML/CTF clauses now?
Probably not, and we won't pretend otherwise. Routine bookkeeping, BAS preparation and payroll under client authority are not designated services under Tranche 2, which started on 1 July 2026. Obligations do apply if you form or restructure companies or trusts, provide a registered office, act as a nominee director, trustee or shareholder, hold or control client money as part of a transaction, or help a client sell their business. They apply even if you do one of those things only occasionally, because there is no threshold for doing it rarely. The intake asks, so your documents match the services you actually provide. If none of it applies, they stay silent on AML, as they should.
My professional body gives me a template. Why pay?
Member templates are solid starting points, and generic by necessity. LetterKit gives you your services, your fees, your terms and the current disclosures already inserted, across five documents, with 12 months of updates when the rules move again.
What happens when the rules change again?
Your purchase includes 12 months of clause library updates. Your re-download link regenerates your pack against the current library: same answers, current clauses.
What if it doesn't fit my practice?
14-day refund, no questions asked.
When do I get my pack?
In one sitting. Your intake link is emailed as soon as your payment goes through, the questions take about fifteen minutes, and your pack is built and downloadable the moment you finish. Your download link stays live for 12 months.

Fifteen minutes from a current letter.

20 questions. Five documents. Yours to edit, current for 2026.
